Automation Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Re-code existing firmware for new microcontroller/PLC, and create drivers for control of RS-232 serial
interface devices

- Tech support (remote & email support/testing/installations)

- In-house assist w/new fabrication, test, repair, & recovery

- Automation software development & documentation

- Create drivers for control of serial interfaced devices

Job Requirements

Requirements:

- Embedded controller programming experience and/or PLC programming experience

- Java (preferably w/Eclipse IDE for program development, debugging, and deployment.)

- Visual Studio IDE for C/C++ and VB.Net for program development, debugging, and deployment

- Familiar with Latex/Tex/Word and ability to write clear documentation

- Command line utilities for Windows (DOS; PowerShell, etc.)

- Read basic engineering schematics and wiring diagrams

- Machine vision and image processing experience is a PLUS

- Must be able to travel up Domestically and Internationally (travel up to 10%)
