Automation Technician (2nd Shift) Location: Columbia, SC Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday (with voluntary weekend work) Pay: Starting from $23/hr, up to $35/hr based on experience level (plus $2.00/hr shift premium) Join our team in Columbia, SC, where we are a leading provider of solar power inverters and support solutions. We're looking for skilled Automation Technicians to support our growing operations. With roughly 600 employees and a large contingent workforce, our facility is a fast-paced environment focused on cutting-edge automation and robotics. What You'll Do: As an Automation Technician, you will: Maintain continuous operation of automation and robotic systems by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying components as needed. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to bring them back to full service. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all subsystems and components. Ensure all robotic and support equipment maintenance is completed on a regular schedule. Work with PLCs, interpreting complex electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams for automated systems. Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification and optimization of automated systems. = Experience We're Looking For: Education/Training: An Associate's degree in a related field, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
