Automotive Dealership Group Variable Operations Development Director

Working alongside the US Platform Vice President and our Marketing Department, the Variable Operations Development Manager will play a key role with helping drive improved operational efficiency at Leader Automotive dealerships in your assigned area by closely monitoring paid and organic lead channels, market share, gross profit, closing percentages, and sales CSI scores. This will be done by helping guide the GM and Sales Managers with continuous feedback and training measures that they can then implement with their staff. Your efforts will translate directly into increased new and used vehicle sales, while providing valuable insight to leadership regarding overall store performance and other employee engagement, productivity, or culture concerns that could be affecting the attainment of our desired goals. Increasing our overall closing percentage in sales is a critical component to the Leader Automotive growth strategy, and we are confident that the right candidate will help us accomplish our mission to provide the best and most efficient sales experience to every guest we serve.
Job Responsibilities: Partner with the Platform Vice President and Marketing Partner of your assigned platform and store management to drive positive results in lowering turnover, improving associate productivity, increasing CSI, market share, PVR, vendor relations, and overall sales results.Work individually with GMs and Sales Managers to help implement improved process execution working with team members to develop effective and sustainable action plans that will increase variable operation KPI's and store profitability.Conduct store visits with the GM and Sales Management teams to elevate e-commerce business results by leveraging data, software, and sales tools for review/comparison within the CRM to recommend initiatives that will lead to increased sales and closing percentages.Build and/or modify reports and dashboards for sales, marketing and dealership operations to assist with the analysis of lead handling and team member productivity.Ensure the dealership's online presence is set up to maximize lead generation efforts and our ROI on advertising dollars spent.Support lead generation & customer success management projects from a corporate level as new initiatives are deployed at store level.Own the flow of lead information and how it makes its way through our systems accurately and effectively.Implement and action sales automation features to improve efficiencies for store leaders and their staff.Initiate and execute opportunities for internet sales, such as: email/SMS campaigns, marketing automation, general marketing plugins for CRM, etc.Coach and mentor store leadership and other team members to perform in a manner consistent with Leader Automotive's core values, sharing role specific information that will help them to better serve our clientele and the community we operate in.Other duties as assigned by Retail Leadership on an as-needed basis.Requirements: Preferred minimum of 5 years automotive experience, with 2 years of dedicated Internet or Sales Management experience.Valid, current driver's license with an acceptable driving history as this position will require travel within your designated market to visit dealerships on a weekly/monthly basis.Previous experience using a dealership CRM & 3rd party lead software (VIN Solutions, ADP/CDK, iLeads, E-Leads, Reynolds, Compass, Salesforce, etc).Well-versed in Microsoft Office features, such as Excel, to create reports and analyze data.Adaptable, quick learner who can use other team members proactively when you need help.Detail-oriented individual who can work independently with little need for direction to get through your daily and monthly tasks.Comfortable talking to people at all levels within the organization and know how to discuss data and results.You have an ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts in a manner that will maximize dealership ROI on advertising dollars spent.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
