NextGen Car Care, a reputable automotive service center in Clinton, NY, is currently seeking a skilled Automotive Detailer to join our dynamic team.Job Responsibilities:Cleans and refurbishes automobilesWashes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambsApplies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaceVacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debrisCleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devicesApplies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicalsCleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agentsApplies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendationsInspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operationRestores appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfacesUses touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materialsUses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protectionFills vehicle with fuelApplies dressing on tires and tire wellsPerforming underbody washes to vehicles and also undercoating applications.Replaces missing or defective small partsKeeps work area neat and cleanOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues immediately to management.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 years of experience as an Automotive Detailer.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Team player mentality with a customer-focused approach.Benefits:Competitive hourly pay plus a flat rate bonus plan based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance options.Paid time off and holiday pay.Ongoing training and development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for advancement within the company.NextGen Car Care is committed to providing top-notch automotive services to our customers while fostering a positive and rewarding work environment for our team members.
