The ideal candidate should have a passion for Ford vehicles and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Ford Master Technician ResponsibilitiesPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and proceduresTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services neededProvide an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecuting repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsFord Master Technician Requirements5+ years of Service Technician experience requiredASE Certification requiredA-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairBroad knowledge of new vehicle technologiesAmbitious, hardworking presence in a team environmentExcellent customer service skillsBasic computer skillsPositive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentalityEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentAbility to collaborate effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationsAble to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredValid driver's license and clean driving recordWe offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:Health insurance - Medical, Dental, VisionPaid time off401k planSign-on bonus for qualified candidatesAssistance with moving expenses for out-of-town applicantsMadras Oregon is a conservative enclave located in central Oregon.
