Automotive Functional Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage functional safety activities for automotive systems and components.Develop and implement safety concepts and requirements in compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.Perform safety analysis, including FMEA, FTA, and HARA.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the design and development process.Conduct safety assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Provide guidance and training to team members on functional safety practices and methodologies.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in functional safety, particularly in the automotive industry.In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.Proven experience in safety analysis methods such as FMEA, FTA, and HARA.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Certification in functional safety (e.g., TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Engineer) is a plus.
