Automotive Office Manager

Automotive Office Manager needed for family-owned new car dealership in the Catskills, NY area. Automotive Accounting experience is required for this role. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in automotive accounting and be a hands-on leader. This person will oversee a team of 1-2 people in the accounting office. This is a hands-on role and the Office Manager will be responsible to handle much of the day-to-day accounting functions for this small but growing dealership. Dealertrack experience is highly preferred. Experience doing the month-end close is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:Lead and manage the dealership's accounting officeProcess and book deals accurately in Dealertrack, ensuring timely transactions and reconciliation.Handle bank reconciliations, assist with accounts payable and receivable, and general accounting.Clean SchedulesOversee payroll processing, with light HR and administrative supportSupport titles, accounts payable, and registry work.Support from upper management and the corporate controller will be available for training, troubleshooting, and complex issues.Bonus, but not required: ability to handle month-end closeCompensation / Benefits:Compensation range will be in the $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience. **If candidate is able to do month end financial close then this range will be higher**Benefits package will be providedHow To Apply:Please apply with your most recent resume at www.automotivesearchgroup.com or call us ******** .
