Automotive Receptionist/ Phone Operator

Job Summary:Suburban Subaru, a leading auto dealership in Vernon, Connecticut, is seeking a full-time Automotive Receptionist/Phone Operator to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in providing extraordinary customer service to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our phone lines. As a key member of our dealership, the Automotive Receptionist/Phone Operator will be the first point of contact for our customers and will have the opportunity to earn a competitive base salary plus commission in the exciting auto industry. This position will also include daily scanning of various papers, verifying customers' warranty coverage, and completing our service follow-up questionnaire.Compensation & Benefits:This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a salary range of $32,000 to $40,000 per year, paid biweekly. In addition to the base salary, this position also offers the potential for commission based on performance. Our employees also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and development within our organization.Responsibilities:Greet and welcome customers as they enter the dealershipAnswer a multi-line phone system for incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individualUpdate and maintain customer records in our databaseHandle and resolve customer complaints or inquiries in a professional and timely mannerFollow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any outstanding issuesMaintain a clean and organized reception areaCollaborate with other departments to ensure optimal customer service and satisfactionStay updated on all dealership products, services, and promotions to communicate them to customers effectivelyVarious other office duties.Requirements:Prior multiline phone system experience is a MUST- minimum 3 yearsPrior customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industryExtraordinary communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional and friendly demeanorStrong multitasking and organizational abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applicationsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentMust be available to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and holidaysEEOC Statement:Suburban Subaru is an equal-opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
