The Service Writer w/Sales Experience is responsible for all contact with customers from the initial phone call through delivery of the vehicle. The primary focus of this position is on sales and customer service. An honest, fair approach to all customers, sales, and repairs is imperative. Establishing professional relationships with fleet and wholesale accounts, parts distributors, and retail customers is key to this position. Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00 No Weekends

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow all procedures for both the customer and the vehicle from the first customer contact until the car is delivered (picked up and paid for).

Utilize appropriate systems and forms.

Maintain appearance of the center for both safety and cleanliness.

Problem solving and resolution of customer problems.

Ability to work with Technicians.

Maintain policies and procedures.

Ability and desire to assume responsibility and produce results.

Skills and Requirements

Must have previous knowledge of the automotive repair industry.

Exceptional organizational ability, attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the telephone.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Ability to learn and follow procedures as trained.

Knowledge of computers and ability to maneuver within programs.

Prior knowledge of shop management systems.

Above average customer relations skills.

Honest and trustworthy, dedicated work ethic.
