As an Automotive Technician, you are responsible for performing the diagnosis and repair of customer and dealership vehicles. By maintaining technical competence and producing the highest quality of service work, you will be an integral part of helping the dealership to retain its customers and continue to grow. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair customer and dealership vehiclesWork with Service Advisors to discuss findingsProvide estimates of time for repair and request needed partsInstall equipment, systems, and vehicle componentsRecord diagnostic findings, safety concerns, and maintenance recommendationsOngoing requirement to complete any mandatory certifications and training provided by the dealership and stay up to date with new technologyMust follow all dealership and industry standard safety policies and proceduresQualifications & Job Requirements We are looking for a team player with a high level of motivation and two or more years of experience as an Automotive TechnicianThe ideal candidate must be coachable, have strong communication skills, and be able to work well with others as well as independentlyMust be willing to submit to pre-employment background check & drug screenMust have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years of age or have 3 full years of driving recordMinimum of high school diploma or equivalent is requiredSchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with some Saturdays Why Choose Sterling?
