Job Description: As an Automotive Mechanic at European Motors Inc, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including high-end luxury models.
You will perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency, test-drive vehicles, and use diagnostic tools to ensure top performance.
Whether you're working on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, or air conditioning, your goal is to ensure each vehicle is safe, reliable, and maintained to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities: Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.Test-drive vehicles and inspect components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.Communicate directly with the Service Manager to keep customers informed of any additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs.Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.Collaborate with fellow technicians to solve technical problems quickly and effectively.Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workspace.Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with new technology, repair techniques, and service procedures. Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.Experience with electronic diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.Positive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Willingness to learn new technology, repair techniques, and service procedures.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
