If you feel that your skills would be a valuable asset to our team, then we want to get to know you!Automotive Warranty Administrator Clerk Summary:Prepares, records, and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.Automotive Warranty Administrator Clerk Essential Duties:Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributorProcesses all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentationVerifies criteria required by factory or distributorReconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedulePosts credits on computerResubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them offFollows up on payment of outstanding claimsTracks warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed ofArranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrappedFiles and maintains all service records as required by the warrantorKeeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletinsAssists with body shop warranty claims as neededAssists with the cashier and telephone duties as neededAssists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controllerMaintains a professional appearance and a neat work areaPerforms other duties as assignedOther duties may be assigned, as neededAutomotive Warranty Administrator Clerk Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
