Autonomy Integration & Test Engineer

We are seeking an individual with strong expertise in self-driving technologies and robotics systems to help us integrate and test the prototype software functionalities on the production vehicle platforms. This position will play a vital role in shipping production level software to the next generation Level 2 autonomous solutions within Ford's vehicle lineup.
What you'll do... Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the ADAS software modules and hardware systemsIntegrate and deploy the ADAS software to the production vehicle platformsDevelop software to optimize the system performance and improve the fleet infrastructureDevelop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverageAnalyze test results, identify and diagnose issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve problems.Stay up-to-date on the latest autonomous driving technologies and testing methodologies, and contribute to the development of robust test processes and proceduresYou'll have... Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields1 year of software development experience using C++1 year of experience with Linux development and bash scriptingIdeally you'll have... Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields, or 2+ years of experience in test and integration engineeringExperience with ADAS technologies i.e. autonomous driving software architecture, sensors, networking, compute hardware, control systemsExperience with UDP, TCP, CAN and network routingExperience with software development tools i.e. build systems, containers, source control etc.Experience with software for real-time or safety-critical systemsExperience with agile software development and testing methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
