Av Technician (Secret Cleared)

Job Summary: The AV Installation Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and testing of audio-visual (AV) systems for commercial and residential projects. The technician will ensure all AV equipment is installed according to project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Active Secret clearance or higher required.
\n Responsibilities:Perform installations of AV systems, including displays, projectors, speakers, video conferencing systems, control systems, and associated cabling.Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute installation tasks accurately.Install AV equipment on walls, ceilings, and racks while ensuring proper alignment, cabling, and functionality.Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to confirm optimal performance of AV systems.Perform cable management to ensure neat and professional installations.Collaborate with the AV Project Manager, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.Communicate with clients or stakeholders on-site to address concerns or clarify installation requirements.Maintain tools, inventory, and company equipment in excellent working condition.Provide on-site training to clients on basic system operations as required.Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times during installation projects.
