Job Location: Charlotte, NC USA(If the candidate is unable to relocate to Charlotte, NC, the candidate has the option of working remotely) Job Summary: We are looking for a strong PI System system support specialist to expand our PI Managed Services team for a customer with a growing volume of operational assets. The ideal candidate will help deliver a robust support model as well enabling the customer to gain maximum value from their AVEVA PI System. This includes working with a variety of customer stakeholders to ensure their business needs are met, providing technical guidance and best practice expertise. Key Responsibilities: · Help on analyzing, proposing and implementing solutions to address client challenges in the area of real-time data solutions. · Provide PI System Support and best practice guidance in terms of integration, storage, modelling, visualization and consumption of time-series data. · Working hours must be in Eastern Standard Time; 8am – 5:30pm. · Implement\deliver the managed services solutions for the customer's portfolio. This includes managing incidents and completing tasks in a timely manner. · Oversee critical asset monitoring to ensure optimal system health. · Support colleagues with the day to day work as well as resolve\troubleshoot issues. · Align with customers on initiatives as well as process and system improvements. · Work closely with team-mates, delivery leads, technical leads and SCRUM-Master to deliver best-of-breed PI expertiese. · Be available for on-call support (fully compensated). · Draft and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, training materials, SOPs and knowledgebase articles. · Ensure critical KPIs are adhered to. Work within a stringent regulatory framework and ensure that the Service Level Agreement is complied with. Job Requirements: Essential Skills: · Strong understanding of the PI System Architecture. · Strong PI System experience (PI DA, AF, ANAlytics, Interface, Batch interfaces). · AVEVA Accreditation (Infrastructure and/or Installation). · A minimum of 4+ Years experience in Tech Support function preferred. · Experience in delivering PI Training. · Comfortable working in a remote, multi-cultural environment. · Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work as a team member as well as alone, unsupervised. · Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly. · Self-motivated with a passion for quality and excellence. · Enjoy customer interaction and delivering for end-users. On-Call Requirements: 24/7 Support · On-call work is a key responsibility of this role · Successful candidates for this role are required to be available for on-call work on a rotational rostered basis (typically on-call for one week in every 5 weeks, but subject to variation) On-Call role begins at 5:30pm EST to 08:30am EST each weeknight, as well as covering weekends The On-Call team-member is responsible only for Priority (P1 & P2) Events and they will be paged if/when an event requires attention. Nice to Have Skills: · Experience with other historians (Ignition, IP21). · Experience with SCADAs or OPC Sevrers (Kepware, DeltaV, Rockewell). · Experience with third party tools (SPLUNK, Seeq, PowerBI, DynaTrace). · JIRA and/or ServiceNow experience. · Programming and system integration skills desired. · SCRUM/Agile Exposure. · Energy Industry experience desired, not critical. Qualifications: Higher academic or technical education within IT, Engineering, Automation with extensive experience with PI System tools (integration, installation and configuration, support) Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until Dec 23rd 2024. The annual salary for this position is between $90,000K -$132,000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
