As an Aviation Office & Dispatch Administrator at Micron Technology, Inc.'s supporting Corporate Aviation in Boise, Idaho, you would work with the Director of Aviation to perform advanced level support through efficient organization and communication skills in this differentiated environment. You would be required to identify and develop policies and processes that ensure improved efficiencies in department operations. You would be required to work with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders, while managing tasks and deliverables for respective teams. This role is an opportunity to contribute meaningful support to enhance the smooth operations of processes and activities within the department while expanding the scope of the Aviation Office & Dispatch Administrator position.
Responsibilities:
Cost Accounting Support:
Manages cost accounting activities, including gathering historical data, investigating cost structures, and preparing budget vs. actual expense reports.
Ensures accurate cost allocation and develops procedures and policies for cost accounting systems.
Accounting Operations:
Verifies cost accounting and accounts payable records, reviews invoices, and goods receives, assuring correct general ledger entries.
Uses automated systems for data input, report generation, research, and inquiries.
May reconcile difficult accounts and maintain systematic transaction records.
Procurement Oversight:
Oversees procurement of materials, parts, components, and equipment.
Directs buyers and expediters, reviews, and approves purchases, and participates in contract negotiations.
Develops department purchasing policies and procedures, monitors cost, schedule, and performance to contracts.
Flight Operations:
Applies a Professional Flight Management Application for Flight Operations Support.
Monitor C-Level Executive Flights with Executive Admins.
Helps with Plane Requests and Flight Schedules.
Provides Innovative Improvements to Flight Operations and Traveler Experience Upgrades.
Coordinates Scopes, Objectives, and Deliverables for Innovative Projects

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field of study.
4-6 years of experience in Accounting or a related field
Aviation-related work experience is preferred for this job position.
