Position Summary: The Sales Account Manager I will be responsible for managing client relationships with Unical.
A primary objective will be to promote and sell inventoried aviation parts and sourcing and selling aviation parts not in inventory to satisfy customer request for quote (RFQ).
Strategic sourcing and pricing are a key component to the success of this position.
This position will provide providing exceptional service, understanding client needs, and identifying opportunities for business expansion in order to grow the company's presence within the aerospace industry.
This role requires a deep understanding of the aviation industry, detailed orientated, technical knowledge, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities: Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone and emails.Understand the unique needs, goals, and challenges of each client.Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients, ensuring open communication.Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements in order to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients.Work on business development of potential customers.Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.Research and gather market and customer information; learn about the market, products, service and competitors.Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge.Negotiate terms of an agreement and closing sales.Ensure timely delivery of products or services to clients.May represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.Work as a liaison with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders & obtaining good pricing through bargaining /negotiating on price and costs, delivery and specifications.Develop and achieve sales budget targets with leadership.Review monthly sales performance, able to aim and meet or exceed yearly targets.Able to make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with competitive quotations.Attending team meeting and share best practice with colleagues, supporting the team and helping each other when needed.Track products through delivery on time and meeting deadlines.Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High School Degree or GED.1 - 2 years of relevant work experienceMust have basic understanding of aircraft airframe and engine technologies and its operations.Skills in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.Requires good oral and written communication skills, organization, time-management skills.Self-motivated and ability to build collaborative relationships in a team/department and customer/client environment.Must be able to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines.Good business acumen and good judgment.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Experience in a sales aviation component environment.Quantum experience Location: Glendale, AZ – Onsite, No Hybrid or Remote Work. Travel: Some travel may be required with notice. Language: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
