Job Summary:
The Associate Vice President, Head of Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize Sun's partnership with Integrated Delivery Networks.
This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with all key IDN stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our pharmaceutical products.
The Head of IDNs will lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive growth, improve patient access, and enhance overall operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrated delivery networks that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, and other key IDN stakeholders to enhance collaboration and partnership.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for network integration, contract management, and performance optimization.
- Oversee the development and negotiation of contracts with healthcare systems and 340B entities ensuring favorable terms and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of sales to delivery networks, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory, to ensure alignment and support for integrated delivery network initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status and performance of integrated delivery networks, including key metrics and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, etc.)
preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry, with a focus on integrated delivery networks, managed care, or health systems.
- Proven track record of success in selling to integrated delivery networks, including contract negotiation and performance optimization.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to integrated delivery networks and managed care.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with key stakeholders and support network initiatives.
Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan, and may be eligible for the Long Term Incentive Plan.
