MSWM's Private Banking Group ("PBG") offers a variety of lending, deposit, and cash management solutions such as securities-based loans, home loans, and cash management accounts. PBG is responsible for developing, launching and managing innovative banking and lending services tailored for Wealth Management clients through its US Bank entities: Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association ("MSPBNA") and Morgan Stanley Bank, N.A. ("MSBNA").
High Net Worth Lending ("HNW Lending") within the PBG is focused on managing, developing, and growing the Securities Based Lending ("SBL") business within Morgan Stanley. SBL provides MSWM clients with liquidity solutions by allowing clients to borrow against the value of eligible collateral held in their MSWM account. SBL encompasses liquidity access line ("LAL"), Express Credit Line ("ECL") and Margin products.
We are seeking a high potential SBL Product Support Desk specialist to provide direct support to Financial Advisors, Service Processionals, and Private Bankers through comprehensive knowledge of all SBL products and services. The candidate will develop the skills required to become an SBL subject matter expert and establish key partnerships with Sales, Risk, Legal, Operations, Credit and other key constituents. In addition, team members share their expertise through formalized presentations with Sales partners. The team also work closely with product managers to provide feedback on challenges faced by our Sales and internal partners and recommend product enhancements. The role requires an understanding of both bank and broker dealer SBL product offerings.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide best in class service and support to Private Bankers, Financial Advisors, and Service Professionals.
• Partner closely with Sales and other internal partners to ensure complex transactions are escalated appropriately.
• Prepare and provide Bank Reference Letters and Letters of Intent as requested by Sales partners.
• Review and approve Power of Attorney on client SLB accounts.
• Develop and deliver SBL training content and material for presentations to Sales partners.
• Ensure an exceptional experience by providing feedback to product managers on potential product and service enhancements.
• Use data to analyze business trends, create reports, presentations, and other materials for management.
• Assist with various projects and reporting as required by management including detailed presentations outlining the team's performance, strategy, and initiatives.
• Additional responsibilities as required by Lending Advisors and Head of Lending Advisory.
Required Experience:
•Minimum 2 years of banking/finance industry experience.
•BA or BS degree
Preferred Experience:
•Customer support and operations background

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extraordinary client service aptitude.
•Problem solving. Demonstrate creativity and thoughtful solutions in framing private banking transactions.
•Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task and manage expectations.
•Detail orientation with strong organizational and analytical skills.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint. Tableau/Access/SharePoint skills a plus.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include
commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
