The Project Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge of process improvement (CitiLean), ITIL, project management, and application business analysis, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise to support the System and Analytics Data Utility team. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.
Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new team members. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
Responsibilities:
Ensure creation of configuration project plans, stakeholder management plans, acceptance plans, and central project issue log.
Identify key stakeholders who will participate in configuration project scope definition. Identify, document, and understand project dependencies.
Ensure appropriate resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment.
Ensure change control is executed throughout project.
Establish project communication needs and support creation of project communication plan.
Measure project management performance against standards.
Subject matter expert on adopting, implementing, and troubleshooting workflows to optimize performance
Identify tangible metrics and implement reporting and dashboards to track the metrics
Ensure the delivery of solutions are in-line with CitiLean best practices
Participate in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design, functionality of process changes and team adoption
Develop and maintain process maps and documentation

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Strong process reengineering skills, including the ability to understand the why behind processes and offer suggestions on how to streamline and improve functionality and processes
Ability to find issues and problems, generate solutions and choose alternatives using basic root cause analysis
Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
Ability to work independently and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
ITIL and CitiLean (Six Sigma) certifications are a plus
Advanced Blueworks/Visio process mapping required
Preferred experience with some programming languages, production support and willingness/ability to learn
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software process mapping
4+ years of application production support reengineering
Education:
