Job Responsibilities: Understand the business end-to-end. Understand the Application Architecture. Understand the project timelines and deadlines. CI-CD engineering role focused on modernizing existing delivery pipelines. Responsible for the definition, engineering, and operationalization of new CI-CD pipelines leveraged by multiple software delivery teams. Work with engineering and software delivery teams, and subject matter experts to understand pipeline requirements and communicate newly curated patterns. Work with teams on migration of existing pipelines once new patterns are realized. Set up tools and required infrastructure. Responsible for low-level design with the team. Ensure Code Quality and Deliverables. Lead the team and deliverables; prioritize work with stakeholders. Plan and prepare to support PI planning Events. Work breakdown by stories for development. Accurate work estimation and commitment to timelines and deadlines. Identify dependencies and communicate. Skills and Experience Required: Design and implementation experience of several patterns in AWS (Serverless and Server based). Design effective backup, recovery, high availability, scalability patterns, including effective monitoring and logging. Design and solution the migration plan/strategy for migration of on-prem applications into AWS Cloud. Application and databases migration experience using AWS DMS (Data Migration Service). Experience in designing and creating IAM policies, roles, and profiles (using IAM boundaries). In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, such as GIT; understanding of building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.; expertise in continuous integration. Well-versed and experienced in implementing CI/CD tools and frameworks including Jenkins. Configuration and management of databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, and Oracle. Excellent knowledge of networking and serverless infrastructure. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services. Strong application design and architecture; will develop and lead the low-level design with the team and leads. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skilled at problem-solving and critical thinking.
