Duties & Responsibilities: Design and implement and support secure, scalable, and highly available solutions across Azure environment.
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve problems affecting cloud systems performance, efficiency, and availability.
Use GIT and automation tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Terraform, etc.
to implement and manage end-to-end automation.
Participate and lead planning sessions with product, business teams on capacity planning, and cost management.
Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of business development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness, infrastructure flexibility, and performance.
Manage Azure cloud environments and adhere to standards of confidentiality, security, and privacy.
Share expertise throughout the organization and may provide user training for products.
Evaluate engineering approaches and risks to produce development plans that ensure high-quality, low-cost solutions and systems.
Deploy and configure Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory and Databricks services Deploy, configure and maintain multiple Azure services like Azure API Management, App Services, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage include Blob and File Shares, Communication services, etc.
Deploy, configure and maintain Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service environments.
Author and update technical documentation, runbooks, ops guides, and presentations when needed.
Participate and lead in process design and tool selection ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC II, and information security policy and procedures.
Review, mentor, and coach, while defining and promoting use of standards, best practices and lessons learned.
Work with end users, product analysts, and developers to understand features and technical implementations.
Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art computer technology, equipment, and systems; participates in professional development activities as appropriate.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for infrastructure systems in a 24x7 environment Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and other IT professionals for incident and problem resolution.
Participate in on-call rotations.

Required Skills: Strong Experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services: VM, VNET, Storage, ARM, NSG, WAF, FrontDoor, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Azure DB services, Azure Data Lake services Demonstrable experience with programming/scripting in some combination of Python, PowerShell, JSON, JavaScript Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management protocols like SSO, OIDC, OAuth including RBAC roles and ACLs in Azure and Entra ID.
Experience with cloud configuration, monitoring and logging services: Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace and Log Analytics Services Strong experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Strong knowledge in working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and components: load balancers, SSL certificates, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Working experience in building and configuring secure, stable, and enterprise level infrastructure Excellent organization, time management, problem solving, & analytical skills Qualifications: Education & Experience: 4-year degree or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and experience 6 years of experience in public cloud Azure implementation, and support 4 years working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, , Azure Resource Manager and configuration management tools including Ansible, Chef, Puppet 4 years of experience in building and configuring monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor/App Insights/Log Analytics 4 years of experience in at least one (preferably more) of the following languages: Python, PowerShell, JSON, JavaScript 4 years of Docker and Kubernetes experience including Azure Kubernetes Service 5 years of experience configuring and deploying Windows and Linux based infrastructure and operating systems, including day-to-day system administration experience.
Experience with compliancy standards and frameworks: SOC2, HIPPA, NIST, ITIL, ISO 27001 Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter.
