We are currently seeking an Azure DBA to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
Experience Required: 6 to 8 years
Minimum Qualifications: Oracle or Microsoft SQL DBA experience is required. Good to have Azure experience. Finastra Product knowledge is required. Primary Responsibilities: Managing and monitoring Azure SQL databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring data security. Configure & Monitor Performance/Storage/Memory alerts on all Production Azure Servers to ensure high availability of data. Expertise and experience monitoring Azure workspaces, VMs, VM drives, Memory etc. Troubleshoot and perform RCA on incidents. Optimize database platforms. Perform health checks and right size environments. Carry performance tuning activities. Drive database automation. Index monitoring/maintenance. Query Statistics monitoring/maintenance. Additional Skills/Tasks Required: Create a new Database. Review and Report Activity Log. Manage Access Control (IAM). Manage Tags. Diagnose and Solve Database Issues. Configure Firewall and Virtual Networks for access to Database. Configure Failover Groups. Configure Long-term Backup Retention. Manage Auditing and Threat Detection. Manage Active Directory Integration. Manage Database Locks. Manage Automation Scripts Library. Manage Automatic Tuning. Manage Database Pricing Tiers on Price/Performance Basis. Geo-Replication Configuration. Create Dynamic Data Masking. Configure Transparent Data Encryption. Sync to other Databases. Database Content Management and Maintenance. Manage Alert Rules. Monitor Database Size. Monitor and Optimize Database Performance. Manage Database Support Requests.
