Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Owner in Somerset, NJ.
Overview: The Product Owner will be responsible for maximizing value of Enterprise Applications in the Quote to Order in Research business.
They will achieve these objectives by closely working with the -Research- business stakeholders and technology team for the area of responsibility to ensure that strategic goals and tactical implementation of the Quote to order system functionality are realized.
The Research team includes working with the Quote to cash, Operations, Finance, Customer support and Sales support teams.
The Product Owner serves as the product owner with accountability to evolve business processes and results by assessing current activities, envisioning future applications of designated systems and tools, driving business process improvements, change management, scope definition, planning, ensuring timely and effective requirements communication, prioritization within the back log, healthy backlog, testing, and successful implementation.
They also serve as the key point of contact for the Technology product owners for Research in the context of Mergers and Acquisitions.
This person synthesizes requirements, communicate needs and priorities, and ensures completion of M and A and improvement project activities from an Enterprise Applications perspective.
They will lead communications and be the main point of contact for the Research business/functional unit leadership/teams for any projects or issues regarding Enterprise Applications by actively participating or leading scoping and planning of business roadmaps and future enhancements.
Required Skills : BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification/experience At least 3-5 years of experience in product management Experience in the areas of Order to order (Planning and/or Execution) Experience with SAP SD preferable Experience with master data management, like Customer, Product and Pricing Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and in groups Ability to speak effectively in presentations Ability to write clear, well-organized reports and memos using appropriate style, grammar Demonstrates active listening by conveying an accurate understanding of other s messages Strong drive with cascading strategy and product decisions Knowledge of scrum methodology and Agile processes Capable of building business cases Problem solving capabilities Ability to functionally learn new technologies and guide situational adoption cases Ability to work both collaboratively and independently Adapts well to changes at work Is able to break down complex problems/tasks into manageable parts, and allocates own time efficiently Understands and utilizes project management tools and techniques to meet project deadlines Skilled in direct management.
