Back End Collector Location Salt Lake City, UT : Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday Pay: $19.00/hr., depending on experience, Monthly incentive bonus is also available.
The experience you need to succeed: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. Proficiency with business machinery to include Xerox, computers, calculators, Microsoft Word/Excel. What you'll do: Contact members with delinquent loans by phone, letters, emails to negotiate payment arrangements to bring loan current. Answer inbound calls from members regarding delinquent loans. Maintain up to date and accurate collection notes. Post member payments made by telephone. Negotiate payment arrangements with members to bring loan current. Assist in achieving department's collection goals. Identify and inform management of potential underwriting problems. Assign and discuss which loans are to go out for repossession with manager. Track repossessions and monitor accounts for updates on vehicles out for repossession. Assist in getting vehicles to auction that have been repossessed. Skip trace and attempt to locate members that have gone missing. Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied. Posting checks and payments to member's accounts. Gathering information to assist struggling members to modify loans and repayments. The person in this position will collect outstanding loan balances on loans 60 days delinquent.
