We are currently seeking a Back End Java Developer to join our team in San Leandro, California (US-CA), United States (US).
Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Work with stakeholders to gather the requirementsDevelop, test, and deploy APIsWrite tested, idiomatic, and documented Java codeCooperate with the front-end developer in the process of integrating the RESTful APICommunicate with external web servicesProduce, maintain, and modify REST APIsEnsure APIs are developed using industry standard best practicesFix any issues or bugs that ariseBuild Microservices/API from a Monolith applicationHandle web application vulnerabilitiesHandle production issuesBasic Qualifications:7 years Java experience5+ years of hands-on experience in the development of RESTful APIs and Microservices using technology stack: Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Batch, Kubernetes Services, Oracle DB, Apigee/API Gateway2+ years of cloud experience (Google/Azure/AWS)Experience in MultithreadingExperience in Design patternsExperience in BDD and TDD; experience with test-driven design & development, unit and integration testing, CI/CDKnowledge of Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins, DevOps, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck etcEducation:Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or applicable experience
