What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Architect, Design, Develop, and Test robust and scalable applications leveraging .NET, Azure, and C#
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic leveraging CosmosDB, SQLServer, and other Azure services
Jointly own technology decisions with product managers and architects, ensuring the delivery of robust solutions
Resolve complex and critical production issues, as well as handle escalated service issues
Mentor junior software engineers, helping them overcome obstacles and develop their skills
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification
Minimum 6 years of experience with application development, system architecture, or a similar role
Solid experience with .NET, C# programming, and object-oriented development
Experience with SQL and NOSQL databases like SQLServer, CosmosDB/MongoDB
Proficiency in developing cloud, serverless, and event-driven solutions in Azure/AWS
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with other programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
Knowledge of Life Sciences systems and business
Good understanding of development and testing frameworks and best practices
Proficiency in code management and deployment patterns including branching
