Summary:
Position: Medical Back Office Assistant
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
Facility: Dermatology Group
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Bilingual, Spanish a must!
Responsibilities:
Strong back office office experience Medical scribing experience needed Participate with MOHS procedures Document chief complaint/medical history/update medication list Request/Gather all necessary data for each patient medical record (i.e.
hospital/referring physician office/radiology and or lab records) Maintain a clean/organized work area including front office/triage area/examination/treatment rooms Prepare treatment room Assist the physician with MOHS procedures physician orders/monitor prescriptions/request authorizations Position Requirements Medical Assistant Certificate or diploma 1-year experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be organized, detailed, and professional Must have Emr skills

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required.
Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
