Back-Up Driver
We are seeking a back-up driver to join our team.
This role will be part of our delivery department and will report to the shift supervisor.

Responsibilities Reading work orders to determine the production specs of each door Identifying, locating, and pulling the correct door slab and other components Modifying the door slab as necessary to meet specifications Using routers, saws, jigs, aluminum brakes, pneumatic sanders, electric and pneumatic drills and drivers to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble fiberglass, aluminum and wood products Physically moving the door from one production station to another Inspecting work to identify defects, production errors, and quality issues Cleaning the shop and doing light maintenance work Other duties as assigned Competencies: Building Trust Customer Focus Communication Safety Awareness Qualifications 1-2 years of recent driving experience in a commercial motor vehicle Class A CDL with authorization to drive manual truck Satisfactory criminal history and motor vehicle records Satisfactory PSP and DOT Clearinghouse reports Acceptable pre-hire DOT drug screening Ability to obtain a new medical card Ability to routinely back a tractor trailer into tight spaces Ability to use forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck Compliance with all company policies and applicable DOT standards Ability to provide high quality customer service Ability to work overtime as business dictates Palmer-Donavin participates in E-Verify, is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and operates a Drug Free Work Place, a policy which prohibits the use, possession, and/or distribution of medical marijuana in the workplace.
