Our team's mission is to build the biggest, most trusted marketplace of live events, globally. How can we create more opportunities for our users to connect with artists and their communities? How can Spotify better support the #1 revenue stream of our creator partners? How can Spotify improve the live experience from discovery to post-gig experiences? Where will the live industry be in 3-5 years? What should Spotify's role be in the live space? We are tackling these questions and more.
We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded Backend Engineer, to join our team to build our Live Events catalog systems: the systems behind surfaces like the live events feed (open.spotify.com/concerts). In Live Events you'll help both fans and artists connect over what shows are available and around them. We're looking for an engineer who values team success over personal success and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. The ideal candidate will be someone for whom the excitement of rapid product development is a draw.

Work with squads across the organization to develop and scale the platform.
Be hands on and deliver on complex backend tasks that bring the joy of Live music to Spotify users.
