Job DescriptionThe Backend Software Engineer Intern will report to the Senior Director of Development and focus on creating software and applications for a diverse range of users, from consumers to major financial institutions.
Responsibilities: Work with a team of developers to bring new products from prototype to production.Produce efficient and elegant code using programming skills (Java, AWS, Spring, NoSQL DB) to develop new applications.
tools.Identify and translate customer requirements into detailed architecture and design.Conduct detailed unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's program in Computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field of studyReturn to school in Fall 2025 to complete degreeProficiency in programming languages Java.Experience with AWS technologies and microservices architecture.Exposure to any relational or no SQL DB and associated toolsBenefits/Perks: Fully remote work arrangementVolunteer Time OffFlexible work scheduleEligible for 401(k) participation in 90 daysAdditional InformationExperian's culture and people are important differentiators.
