Bag Machine Operator

Join Our Team as a Machine Operator! Responsibilities: Operate assigned machine efficiently and effectively to ensure smooth production processes. Execute product runs, assist with zipper/roll changes, and contribute to machine changeovers. Pull, inspect, and retain product samples, meticulously recording all relevant data for traceability. Maintain continuous presence at the machine, except for designated tasks such as retrieving supplies or moving completed pallets. Ensure quality standards are met by verifying job jacket information, inspecting products throughout production, and making minor machine adjustments as needed. Complete production paperwork accurately to maintain product traceability. Maintain a clean work area to prevent contamination and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Keep the machine supplied with raw materials, including changing rolls of film and zippers when necessary, and seeking assistance when required. Qualifications: High School graduate or GED Ability to measure accurately using a ruler Ability to lift 25 lbs Work in a fast paced environment Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal, from lead operators and management. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Adherence to safety procedures and willingness to seek assistance when uncertain about tasks. Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and assist with various tasks as needed.
