IDEAL CANDIDATES
We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.
Banquet Set-Up is responsible for providing a world class banquet and event experience in the meeting rooms and throughout the resort when warranted.
Banquet Set-Up is responsible for setting up, refreshing and sanitizing all meeting rooms.
Banquet Set-Up is responsible for creating a clean and organized back of the house.
Banquet Set-Up may also be asked to assist in service of the guest including coffee breaks and meals.
Setting up meeting rooms and private function areas with the appropriate equipment and materials, including tables, chairs, glasses, water, pens, writing tablets, and any other items requested.
Set up, maintain, and breakdown banquet meeting rooms.
Efficient in correct set up of tables, chairs, stages, dance floors and other equipment as specified by Banquet Event Order (BEO's).
Follow directions from BEO's for a signed banquet meetings.
Storing equipment and materials neatly in proper areas.
Icing and watering all meetings at the start and during breaks.
Emptying trash from all function areas.
Changing linen, and putting it in the correct areas for cleaning by housekeeping.
Vacuuming all meeting rooms after functions.
Inspecting Banquet equipment for defects, cleanliness, and any other maintenance needed and reporting to the Manager.
Cleaning and mopping of the storerooms and meeting room Adhere to the policies of the Resort as set forth in the Employee Handbook and report any observed violations to Human Resources.
Maintaining a good level of employee and guest relations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS One year of Banquet Set Up experience preferred Must be able to lift 75 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation Previous hotel/resort experience preferred Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
