Barn Operations And Equestrian Manager In The Beautiful Foothills Of The Colorado Rockies

This position will provide several roles in the equestrian operation.
Oversee the full care of 60 +/- horses including management and scheduling of feeding staff. This may also include direct feeding and care of horses. Coordinate with veterinarians, farriers, etc for all routine and emergency care of horses. Tack horses for head trainer Coordinate with and hold horses for farrier as needed. Farm maintenance including assisting with irrigating fields and other maintenance as needed. Coordinate with 3rd party contractors as needed Management of lesson program including some back office administration. Assist with horse shows and clinics as needed including administration, staffing , operations, etc. Haul horses to 3rd party locations as needed including veterinary hospitals, shows, etc. Be on call on certain days to fill in certain needs as they may arise. Maintain feed and veterinary records for client horses. Requirements Experience driving/hauling livestock.
