Description:
Basic Function
The Bartender will be responsible for serving guests at a bar and fulfilling drink orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Bartenders monitor a cash drawer at the bar and perform alcohol inventories at the end of each shift to help maintain proper inventory levels.
Specific Responsibilities
•Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
•Provide Customer service to all guests by answering questions regarding the facility.
•Assists in merchandising functions including display, inventory, and stocking.
•Cash handling functions including a POS system.
•Ensures that their area achieves the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
•Observes guests and monitors their alcohol intake and denying service if warranted.
•Maintains compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
•Maintains positive interaction with other employees and guests.
•Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Clementon Park and Splash World's Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
•Other tasks and duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required
•Must be T.I.P.S.
Certified.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Must have strong customer service skills.
•Excellent multi-tasking skills.
Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
•Basic math skills as they apply to cash handling.
•Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands.
•Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
•Must be responsible and able to follow instructions.
•Must be a team player and able to work well with the other staff members.
