Summary:

The Bartender greets guests, learns their preferences, answers questions, recommends menu items, and prepares and serves beverages and food.
Additionally, the bartender upsells items, creates recipes, utilizes proper equipment, and handles basic cleaning duties.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepares alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages and serves tables as needed Interacts with customers, takes orders, and serves snacks and drinks Assesses customers' needs and preferences and makes recommendations Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails Plans and presents bar menu Checks customers' identification and confirms it meets legal drinking age Restocks and replenishes bar inventory and supplies Stays guest focused and nurtures an excellent guest experience Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time Requirements

Qualifications: Complies with all state food and beverage regulations (alcohol training and current certificate) Proven work experience as a bartender Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks Computer literacy Fluency in a second language is a plus Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Benefits: Competitive salary Annual review with increase potential 401k program with company match Additional benefits may be available Arbor's Guiding Principles:
