CONTRIBUTION - THE ROLE YOU PLAY
The Bartender is one of the most important interfaces with our guests.
Bartenders have the ability to create an unforgettable dining experience for our guests and guide them through their dining experience.
Our goal at Aventura is to cultivate memorable experiences through our bartenders, by providing genuine hospitality and upholding the highest standards of service, and food and beverage knowledge.
Trust, care and teamwork are essential to a bartender's success.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Have extensive knowledge of our food and beverage menus, including daily and weekly specials.
Greet guests warmly and in a timely manner.
Establish a rapport with the guests.
This is the first step in creating an exceptional dining experience and encouraging repeat visits.
Engage with your guests and understand what brought them to our establishment.
Be able to share detailed information about our dishes, and the stories behind them.
Be able to answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods, and accommodate dietary restrictions.
Have extensive knowledgeable of our beverage offerings and have the ability to recommend pairings and make appropriate suggestions.
Able to efficiently prepare specialty and classic cocktails using specified recipes.
Responsible for providing flawless service to guests sitting at our bar.
Able to pace courses to enhance the guest experience and be cognizant of impact on kitchen team.
Consistent use of The Pulpo Group steps of service.
Work as a team.

Likewise, accept help and constructive feedback positively.
Have the ability to balance guest interaction with running sidework tasks.
Maintain opening, running and closing sidework in a timely manner.

Pay: From $5.00 per hour
