Bartender

The Bartender will work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: 
Welcoming customers, reading, and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders. Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials. Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers. Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests, balancing the cash register. Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment. Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and a variable schedule based on business needs. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education: High school diploma.
Experience Required: Prior restaurant experience preferred.
Licenses or Certificates : Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Company standards.
