The Bay Supervisor leads a cultivation team supporting general plant care through the entire life cycle. Monitors and cares for plants on a daily basis as they progress from clone transplanting until harvest.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads and evaluates daily operations of assigned cultivation team per management directionEnsures, and performs, the compliant and efficient execution of all cultivation tasks including;Clone care, transplanting, plant feeding, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventive spraying, waste disposal, crop inspection, and harvest preparationMonitoring and recording environmental factors including humidity, temperature, and nutrient tank levelsMonitoring plants for pests, mildew, and moldMixing nutrient solutions for plant feeding and recording associated dataPerforming water, media, solution sampling, and testingMaintaining daily activity records and operations logs for all activitiesMaintaining a clean and sanitized workspace by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing work areasEvaluate and recommend improvements to cultivation processesAssists management with the evaluation and development of SOP'sAssists with workforce and performance management including employee onboarding, training, mentoring, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.Other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year of commercial cannabis cultivation experienceHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent educationMust possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee BadgeStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data and make informed decisionsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and time management skillsBasic mathematic and metric measurement knowledgeKnowledge of METRC and Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) compliance regulations related to cannabis cultivationKnowledge of cannabis cultivation nutrient requirements, planting mediums, lighting requirements, environmental requirements, soil growing methods, watering, container systems, hydroponics, temperature and humidity requirements, and drip irrigationKnowledge of beneficial and detrimental bacteria, plant diseases, insects, fungi, and related methods to manage cultivationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, Excel, and PowerPointPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting and/or standing for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbsAbility to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or itemsAbility to safely use and store chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, cleaning agents, and nutrient concentrates following manufacturer's recommendations and/or SOPsCOMPENSATION DETAILS: Pay Range: $21.20 - $23.20; actual pay will be determined based on qualificationsBonus EligibleAccrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2.5 weeks per yearHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance plans are availableSupplementary insurance plans are available including Life, Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness401k and ROTH 401k plansNative Roots Cannabis Co. is aware that fake job postings, job interviews, and job offers are being promoted, mainly on social media.
