What You'll Do
As a Platinion ITConsultant Intern, IT Architecture, you will collaborate on interdisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, researchers, technical experts, and consultants to develop leading IT concepts and architectural solutions. In this role, you will apply your sound technicalknow-how, understanding of business contexts, and analytical skills to enable organizations to technically transform.IT ArchitectInternsat BCG Platinion are:

Solution, application, enterprise architecture and business capability mapping 
Understand the life cycle of data, enterprise challenges with handling of data, data quality, lineage, data platforms - both on cloud and on prem 
Restructuring IT processes and organization 
Supporting IT functions during mergers and acquisitions, including the functional and technical transformation of an organization's IT department 
Evaluating an organization's IT and software architecture 
Assessing and implementing IT architectures 
Architectural patterns spanning the technology stack (integration, data, applications, hub spoke, star schema, etc.) 
Evaluating products across the technology stack - ERP, front end, enterprise software, etc. 
Developing technical concepts development and designing of software solution
Designing and implementing feasibility studies 
Designing work packages/modules in IT implementation projects 
Reviewing technical architecture and code 
Executing technical proofs of concept 
Analyzing complex IT application landscapes and status quo for IT architecture optimization 
Developing functional and technical online and Internet strategies
Optimizing the application development processes

What You'll Bring
Master'sdegree in information technology, computer science, information systems, business management, engineering management or system controls & engineering or a related field 
Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
Ideally 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a year in architecture discipline 
Superior technical knowledge, engineering rigor, and creative problem-solving 
Ability to explain complex technology topics to executives 
A growth and learning mindset and desire to keep up to date on the latest technology and tools 
Willingness to travel to work with clients and BCG teams. At times, this role involves significant travel to client sites. The amount of travel will depend on client needs and nature of project 
Technicalexpertiseand knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Various technology stacks  
Data Governance (quality, lineage, etc.), Data Platforms (such as spark, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)  
Data ingestion patterns on cloud, ETL vs ELT vs ETLT 
Data analytics architecture and associatedpatterns(e.g.Data Lake,lakehouse, warehouse, etc.)   
Cloud native applications and cloud services architecture   
Omnichannel architecture  
Integration methodologies and tools (API, microservices, ESB, etc.) 
Structured and unstructured databases and usage patterns  
Programming paradigms and approaches (e.g.object-oriented)  
Process automation approaches and tooling (e.g.DevOps, AIOps)   
Experience in agile engineering and tooling support   

An agile mindset that moves past blockers and a vision to iteratively migrate to the next/modern set of architecture capabilities with a lens of business benefits/value
