Responsibilities
• Generate, assemble, and inspect bearings and bearing components• Verify and inspect features using appropriate methods• Mount, align, and secure tooling and workpiece• Select and install cutting tools• Set machine controls for cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow• Enter commands or adjust controls to correct malfunctions• Perform non-automated functions manually• Clean machine, tooling, and parts• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes• Setup and operate manual and CNC milling, turning, and grinding equipment• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and fixtures• Train other technicians on equipment operation• Move material and racks
Requirements
• Two (2) years of set-up and operation of CNC milling, turning, and grinding equipment• High School diploma or GED equivalency• Available to work any shift• Demonstrate CNC control abilities• Read and interpret complex blueprints• Use various measuring instruments• Maintain accurate documentation• Demonstrate knowledge of grinding techniques• Meet eligibility requirements for security clearance
