Burkwood is seeking an individual for an Overnight or Evening Full-Time BHA.
Our direct care workers responsible for the following:** $1/hour shift differential for overnight shifts and weekends.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:BHA direct care workers help clients adhere to the facility's group and activity schedule.Drive clients in the facility van to local A.A. meetings.Assist clients toward completion of required educational materials including worksheets, videos, and audio files.BHA direct care workers must work effectively in teams and demonstrate respect, inclusion, empathy, support, kindness, professionalism, and a willingness to learn recovery concepts and practices.Burkwood Treatment Center utilizes a number of research-based interventions and must be familiar with - or become familiar with - Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF).EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent required.Within 90 days of hire, receive CBRF Medication Management training to assist clients with medications.
Training is provided.A working knowledge of various aspects of substance use and mental health.
