About the Position: With supervision, provides assessments; individual, marital, and family therapy; and education services to a diverse clientele.
A Typical Day as a Behavioral Health Therapist: Conduct family-centered, inclusive, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based assessments of the behavioral health needs of individual youth and adults, couples, and families; Partner with clients and identify collaterals to develop treatment goals to address their presenting issues and needs; Build on client strengths and provide goal-directed mental health therapy and counseling services to clients Offer services at times convenient to clients to include some evenings; Coordinate services with and provide consultation to other systems on behalf of clients, such as schools, medical providers, case workers/care coordinators, etc. Document services as required by legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies. Location: 102 N. Robinson St. Danville, IL 61832, with willingness to provide counseling services to clients through various modalities (individual, couple, family, group, in office, outreach, telehealth) based on client preference and need
Work Hours: Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of clients.
Does the Following Apply to You?
