The Hotel Colorado is hiring for a part time bell person. We are looking for applicants who are friendly and able to lift heavy luggage. No experience necessary! We will train you. Your pay rate at this position will be $15.00-$16.00/hr. plus tips and porterage. What is porterage? Our hotel has tour groups that stay here. Their luggage usually arrives separate from the guests and needs to be taken up to the guests' rooms before they arrive. Their luggage needs to be brought down when they are leaving and loaded up. The porterage tip is money paid per bag to our employees who help with this. Some of the great perks of this job are accrued sick time, a free employee meal with each shift and an employee rate at our sister property. What would you do as a Bell Person? You would be responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding them farewell. The Bell Person sometimes will escort guests to and from their accommodations, orienting them with the features of the property and their accommodations, assisting the guest in any way to make them feel comfortable in accordance with The Hotel Colorado Standards.
What would you do as a Shuttle Driver? You would transport guests in a safe way within city limits of Glenwood Springs using the Hotel Colorado van. Must have a clean driving record.
