The Role: We are looking for our next Benefits & Leave Management Specialist within our Compensation & Benefits Team. The Benefits & Leave Management Specialist will be responsible for the tracking, administration, and accuracy of the Roquette Americas benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) plan, and other benefits as determined. This role primarily services the United States but may have intermittent responsibilities across Canada, Brazil, and Mexico.

What You'll Do: Perform quality checks of benefits-related data. Assist employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes. Assist in distribution of benefits enrollment materials and eligibility determination. Provide necessary reports for allocation/billing charges. Review and process life status changes across the employee population. Foster productive, efficient, and cost-effective partnerships with vendors and manage vendor contracts. Manage internal employee documentation where appropriate and as related to benefits enrollment actions. Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries. Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities. Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork such as medical, personal, disability, FMLA, and worker's compensation. Respond to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts. Manage the annual catch-up contribution enrollment. Administer the tuition reimbursement program. Work in partnership with other departments such as Shared Services, Finance, and Legal to effectively answer inquiries, prepare reporting, and/or problem-solve issues as needed. Process invoices related to benefits processes where applicable such as vendor payments and leaves of absence. Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to: ad-hoc data analysis, PowerPoint slides or presentations based on manager or client requests, and support Compensation Manager and HR team with Client relationships and other deliverables. Create and maintain process outline documentation and ensure accuracy. What You'll Need: Education: Associate's degree Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Compensation or Benefits administration Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong technical acumen: ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data and provide relevant and concise summaries.
