Beverage Service Manager

Job Description Supervise all Beverage Team Members to ensure they have the skills, resources and support to deliver excellent guest service.
Ensure that all Company service and operating standards are met and that all local, state and federal laws are observed.Supervise the daily operation of all Beverage Team Members and ensure that they are performing their tasks efficiently in accordance with service and operating standards.Achieves and maintains a full working knowledge of all Server activities, rules, appearance standards and promotions.
Ensure all Servers receive all appearance guidelines, makeup application training and proper server etiquette.Perform an 'alcohol sweep' at 2a.m.
to remove all alcoholic beverages from the Gaming Floor.Maintain the master server sheet which is to be updated accordingly, with each new hire or resignation/termination.Assist with the bi-annual Cocktail Server appearance review.
Helps manage the inspection process and oversees all follow-up issues, including, but not limited to, updating the master sheet, completing server documentation in file and correcting noted issues.Deliver Cocktail Servers as required, for special events, promotions, photo shoots and appearances, in coordination with the Marketing Department.Provides clear and consistent feedback to Beverage Team Members about the company's service and operating standards, with emphasis on the appearance guidelines, upcoming events and promotions as well as Guest Service skills.
Maintain and in-depth product and pricing knowledge for all liquors, wines, beers, soft drinks and ancillary items.Plans, coordinates and monitors departmental activity to achieve maximum operating efficiency including, but not limited to, daily work schedules to ensure proper staffing levels on the floor at all times.
Handle guest issues with tact when the front line Team Member is unable to handle the issue independently.
Recruit, orient and train Beverage Department Team Members, and provide ongoing development and training to ensure that staff have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform successfully in accordance with service and operating standards and regulations of the PA Liquor Control Board.
This includes participating in DRAM shop and RAMP training initiatives.Regularly analyze departmental job descriptions for relevance and effectiveness.
Assist, as directed, in the hiring of Cocktail Servers.
Ensure all POS procedures are followed correctly.
Communicate and assist departments when needed.Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security policies and procedures.Attend and participate in meetings, committees and trainings.Ensure proper repair and maintenance of equipment.Strong leadership skills are a must.Excellenct client relationship and management skills.Strong financial acumen; analytical and detail-oriented.Familiar with POS and inventory software.Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and associates.Maintain all mystery shop data and NPS information.Monitor and train Team Members in the prevention of intoxicated patrons as set out in the Company's Responsible Gaming and Alcohol Awareness Programs.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills Bachelor's Degree preferred.
At least 6 years experience in food and beverage operations with proven increased responsibilities over the course of career.Excellent time management skills, along with the ability to forecast the time management needs of others.
Basic mathematical skills which include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, specific to position responsibilities.Must be able to analyze and interpret related data.Proficient knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.Must be knowledgeable of all federal, state and local regulations.Must hold a current TIPS certification and working knowledge of the POS system.
