Requirements Ability to achieve goals, organize and establish priorities effectively and work collaboratively with a high level of motivation  Knowledge of current strategic advancement policies and best practices  Ability to think creatively and strategically and manage multiple areas of activity simultaneously  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge or comparable donor management database preferred  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all the school's constituents while maintaining absolute confidentiality and professionalism in appearance, attitude, and presentation  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in business, communications, marketing, or a related field  Minimum of two years' experience in Advancement at independent schools preferred Strong data management skills, including use of Blackbaud, word processing, and spreadsheets Proficient in the use of computer applications (email, calendars, etc.) as required Ability to work independently The requirements listed in this document are the minimum levels of knowledge, skills, or abilities Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to occasionally lift to 30 pounds Works in a high-paced environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied diverse array of contacts. Work includes several weeknight and weekend events throughout the year Work primarily in a traditional climate-controlled office environment May work in varied extreme outside weather conditions during special activities/events, including extreme heat and cold May work at a desk and/or computer for extended periods
