Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides leadership, direction and supervision of the daily operations of assigned medical practice(s). Plans, designs, implements and maintains programs, policies and management systems of the overall operations of Bryan Heart. Leads a multi-disciplinary care team and is responsible for the supervision and performance of such team.
Reports to the Bryan Heart Operations Director.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

4. *Develops, recommends and manages capital and operational budgets in support of strategic initiatives. Investigates and analyzes new revenue enhancing opportunities by participating in the planning and implementation of new technologies, procedures and services to support day-to-day operations.
5. Uses data sets and reporting tools to assist in assessing performance, establishing targets, monitoring indicators and trends, evaluating performance results and planning for continuous improvement. Works with providers and staff to maximize patient flow, promote efficiency, ensure clinical documentation integrity, increase productivity and use of clinic resources based on patient provider needs.
6. Assists in effectively resolving the clinical concerns of patients, families and providers.
7. Assists with developing and implementing action plans to optimize patient, staff, and provider satisfaction and engagement.
8. *Effectively administers human resource processes, including staff scheduling, performance appraisals; staff recruitment; selection and retention; training, education, competencies; and corrective action. Ensures applicable privacy and security requirements and intervenes as necessary. Serves as a resource for consistent application of policy and procedure within the organization.
9. Responsible for maintenance of physical facilities, changes, moves, and/or improvements as appropriate for safe, efficient and effective clinic operations.
10. Promotes and adheres to organization-specific or health system competencies and policies/procedures.
11. Maintains effective supply chain practices within assigned clinic(s). Recommends opportunities for increased efficiencies. Collaborates with other Bryan Heart leaders to contribute to and lead other initiatives as assigned.
12. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
13. Participates in and/or leads meetings, committees, strategic planning and lean projects as assigned.
14. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge of clinical and management systems, trends and processes.
2. Knowledge of computer hardware equipment and software applications relevant to work functions.
3. Knowledge of reimbursement requirements concerning physician office practices.
4. Knowledge of performance improvement, budgetary and financial methods and practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure, from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Two (2) years of experience in clinic setting preferred. Two (2) years of cardiology experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of management experience preferred.
