On behalf of our client, a leading industrial materials company at the forefront of innovation, we are seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Analyst.
Our client develops advanced solutions for various industries, and we're looking for someone who can drive data-driven insights while leveraging Power BI to create impactful visualizations and reports.
Job Description
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
This position requires a strong analytical background combined with expertise in Power BI to develop and maintain robust reporting solutions that support various departments across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into manufacturing processes, material inventory, production efficiency, and business operations.
Work closely with IT and OT (Operational Technology) teams to integrate data from various sources, including IoT sensors, ERP systems, and other information sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineers, procurement, and supply chain, to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create data models that support root cause analysis and decision-making. Develop predictive models using Power BI and other tools to forecast material demand, production capacity, and maintenance needs. Participate in developing data governance policies, ensuring adherence to data security and privacy regulations, particularly for sensitive manufacturing and material formulation data. Contribute to creating a data-driven culture by advocating for evidence-based decision-making across the organization, from the shop floor to the executive suite.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles, preferably in manufacturing or materials science industries Advanced proficiency in Power BI Experience with Azure and building analytical assets with Microsoft Data Lake Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation Experience with data visualization techniques and best practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences Preferred Skills Understanding of IoT and industrial automation concepts An Equal Opportunity Employer.
