Senior Associate/Associate
Energy & Infrastructure Advisory JLL's Energy & Infrastructure Advisory (E&IA) team are looking for outstanding Senior Associate/Associate candidates to join their Renewable Energy team in Poland rendering services across CEE region.
The E&IA team are market leaders in providing specialist transactional and financial advisory services to developers of and investors in renewable energy assets across a range of technologies including solar PV, wind, energy storage and others across CEE countries with focus on Poland.
The team's expertise includes:
M&A: disposal and acquisition of renewable energy assets (projects, portfolios or platforms)
Equity capital raising for seed, development risk and construction capital
Valuations and project appraisals including financial modelling and valuations
Debt capital raising for senior, junior, mezzanine debt
PPA advisory to help generators and consumers to secure longterm power purchase contracts
Strategic consulting covering commercial, financial, strategic advice on renewables.
What this job involves:
You will be based in Warsaw within the E&IA team in Poland and work in internationally set up teams to deliver transactions in Poland and other CEE countries.
Responsibilities include:
Actively participate in the execution of M&A transactions
Contribute to the relationship with existing clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
Working with junior team members, prepare financial models and transaction documents (e.g. teaser, IM, Q&A, etc.) as well as client deliverables
Proactively supporting E&IA team directors in pursuing new business development opportunities through the generation of client leads and preparation of pitches
Lead the development of in-house financial models and undertake valuation assignments
Support junior team members on assignments
Develop thought leadership materials and produce sector insights on the renewable market
Supporting the growth and development of the E&IA team through a variety of internal tasks

We will be looking for candidates who possess:
At least 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar role in an international organization
Demonstrable experience in managing M&A transactions and financing operations
Experience of producing high-quality documents using the full suite of Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrable experience of developing and using complex financial/Excel models
Knowledge of the Polish renewable energy market
A proactive, get-it-done attitude with a desire to improve and the ability to learn on the job
Ability to proactively overcome qualitative and quantitative challenges confidently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment
A strong appetite to pursue a career in the renewable energy and infrastructure space
A Bachelors or equivalent university degree. A Masters or MBA will be positively valued
Native-like fluency in Polish (or any other CEE local language). Fluent English is a must.
